For the past two or three weeks, our Intro to Engineering class has been working on puzzle cubes. We started out by trying to graph all the possible solutions for three cubes, four cubes, five cubes, and six cubes. We decided that the maximum amount of solutions for three cubes was two, six for four cubes, twenty-one for five cubes, and fortunately Mr. Olson did not make us continue onto the maximum amount for six cubes, although Sean Mulvey got up to fifty. After we graphed the possible solutions on isometric paper, we started on creating our actual puzzle cube. We each had twenty-seven cubes to make a three by three cube. Then we created our own unique solutions and glued the pieces together in our solutions. After the glue dried, we then proceded to color them and test our classmates cubes. When we were finished with the cubes, we attempted recreating the cubes on Inventor, the new 2012 edition. Here are the results from my five blocks:

Now we are finished with our cubes. It was awesome and a great project.

My Old Blog
For some unknown reason, my old blog, containing most of the 1st semesters work, decided not to let me log into it using my Google account. When I further investigated the situation, I found out that my Google email had been deleted for an unknown reason. So I made this new blog and this is the link to my old blog:
